Hi there,

I'm new to HRT. I am on lenzetto oestrogen spray - 1 pump a day and 200mg of utrogestan (progesterone) for 12 days of each cycle. I have been reading around and atm, keeping track of the cycle is a pain as i'm meant to ake the porgesteorne component for 12 days of every 28 day cycle of HRT. I am finding this a real issue as the dates for me starting the Prog. change every month and I, strugglign to keep track of it.

Now, I understand i can just choose to take the 200mg of progesterone (the Utogestan) for 12 days starting on the same dates each *calendar* month - this would be *much* easier for me to remember.

Am i right in thinking I can just do the prog for 12 days starting, for example, on  he 1st of each calendar month, each month? Its a nightmare to keep track of otherwise!

I'm just lookign for some confirmation that i could happily do it this way with no issues..

With the lenzetto its just one pump a day every day isnt it?

Yes as i understand it you can take your progesterone on the first of every month. I was having the same issue when I took progesterone and a meno specialist gave me that advice which I found so much easier.

It depends where you are in your meno journey. If you're later on and don't have a strong cycle of your own you can pick your dates. If you still have your own cycle you will bleed when your body decides regardless of the hrt cycle so it's best to keep the hrt cycle in step with your own.

Thank you very much - i was just seekign confirmation and i am now happy its ok to do what i am doing.
I do stil have strong periods - but they have no resynced to what i think would be classed as withdrawal bleeding a few days after I stop the Prog.
