How much information do I need to take off and how  :-\ if I donate my mobile phone and what do charities do with them other than extract the rare metals etc.?

Go to settinga and do a factory reset. That'll get rid of everything.

 :thankyou:  that's too technical  ;D

My battery on the mobile I love so much died suddenly.  Again  >:( so off to Stressco for a new model, Motorola.  I can switch it on, I have managed to put some details in the phone book 'cos it didn't transfer with the sim  >:(  >:(

I've sent a text to my sister - don't know how to retrieve one  ::) and managed to Phone A Friend  :o who answered immediately .  I've switched it off now.  The screen is Oh So Sensitive  :bang:

DH    :-*  :ange:  has found my 'records' so I have been able to take down most of the phone numbers that I require :-)))).   I may recognise the ring tone by, probably, C.mas - though not sure which 1 that would be  ;D.  I don't know yet if it blinks when I get a call but don't hear it ringing  :-\.

Crikey.  Who knew a block of plastic could be so difficult to live with  :D

It says on the top Gmail  :-\ however.  I will be typing and the message disappears  :o.  I was ages finding the messages stored on the SIM .......... sometimes I hover over the keypad and something types, all by itself  >:(.  I might find it funny.  In about 10 year's time  :(

We found out that it had automatically put "44" in front of many of my saved numbers!  So I've removed the 44 and put an "0" in front and thus far ..........

I won't have mine on in the night in case it bleeps  ;D

Also it saves on the battery Life to give it a rest.

I await with interest to see whether it switches on in the morning  :-\

I just leave mine on 24/7.  Don’t think I’ve ever switched it off.

At least it didn't switch itself on this morning  ;D

Apparently it was pre-programmed to switch on/off so DH disabled that!

I have fat finger problems  >:(.  I don't think that I will ever get completely used to it.  I still like the colour  :D

What do others carry their bricks in?  It fits in a pocket of my handbag and I can close the zip.  Otherwise, it's a phaff.  I can't carry it into the garden in case I put it down!

My pockets aren't long enough  ::).  It could be snatched when in town or lost in the undergrowth of our garden should it fall out  :D
