Hi everyone,

This is my first post on here. I am 48 and peri menopausal. I started taking 1mg of Sandrena and cyclical Utrogestan 6 weeks ago. My symptoms when I first started the HRT were nausea, loose tummy, aches, anxiety, jittery etc. which I put down to the Estrogen getting into my system.  I am currently in the 2 week phase of taking Utro and for the past 10 days have felt great. I'm due to start my period next Wednesday and have woke up today feeling awful - anxious, aching and all of the above. Do you think I need to increase my Sandrena to 2mg? If so, should I do this cyclically or permanently? Thanks in advance for any advice, my GP has not been very helpful. xx

Some ladies do increase the dose when needed towards their period, you could try it.  When your cycle is all over the place then it may be best to take it all of the time.  Are you under a menopause specialist?
