Hi ladies does anyone get breathlessness without rushing around?

I can just be sitting down and suddenly feel like I need to breath through my mouth to get enough oxygen, I feel aware of my breathing if that makes sense. I know this is probably hormones.

I’m 55 on hrt .

Yep.  Every month prior to a bleed I would feel breathless.  As well as very thirsty.  I was unable to draw breath until the bleed began.  Someone suggested breathing into a brown paper bag.
