Thankyou CLKD  :-*  the thought of that needle pain in side of my breast was really making me anxious..

My Sister 3mths before me had her CT done as well, so warned me of the LA pain, but just wasn't expecting it to be so bad >:(

I wouldn't accept a CT operation under LA.  That's cutting corners!  How can 1 possibly relax enough  :-\

Just received my appt for Oct 13th, advised it will take 60-90mins, they need Xrays first, then LA given, then needle for extraction is used.. it's done while breast is pressed into mammo machine, and metal clips are left at removal site of calcifications, really not happy about metal being left inside my breast, this wasn't explained to me at all by Consultant! so extra anxious now. :'( x

It is in the breast?  Ring the Dept next week to ask for more info.?  Sounds a bit medieval to me  >:(.  Mammo is difficult enough!
