Oestrogen progesterone

Hi I'm looking for advice doctor has put me on HRT Oestrgel pump and progesterone tablet. I have to take 1 pump every morning and 1 tablet daily as hor flushes have taken over my life. Still in perimenopause as had period in June. I would like to k ow if anyone else takes HRT like this really not feeling confident about being on it :(

That's a combination that lots of women use, but until you are postmenopausal you shouldn't be on progesterone continuously. Until you haven't had a period for 2 years, you need to take progesterone for only part of the month. This will ensure that your uterine lining is shed.

Thanks for reply I have to take progesterone day 1 to 25 then I might have small bleed. But don't no when to start day 1 again. Considering knocking it on head and suffering suffering suffering with flushes :-\
