Lemon juice in water to drink?  So the urine becomes acidic ..............  :-\

Bicarb of soda in water is soothing though I can never fancy it ...........

Let us know how you get on?

Apparently it lowers the ph. Mine was 7. It does say don’t drink citrus drinks with irritable bladder so …  :) Will see if it works. The tablets are coming in a week so I’ll keep drinking chamomile.

Has your urine sample been sent to a Lab. as a dip stick test doesn't show the true level of infection.

I don’t think so but it had a reading of +2 for leu. I have to finish the tablets, wait a week, send a sample for a culture then go back for one more test just to make sure. Hopefully it will go soon and I can have my final laser treatment. I was reading today that some women have a uti up to 7 weeks after a pelvic examination so maybe that’s what’s happened. I’ll use that d mannose though and maybe it will help me next time. They’re painful these infections >:(

Ring your surgery and ask the question.  Each sample should be sent to a Lab., otherwise GPs are over-prescribing antibiotics which is causing problems World Wide.  A broad-spectrum AB will help symptoms, as will taking pain relief as well.  Stops that nip!!  No point giving ABs if the problem is atrophy!
