Better absorption from one patch than the other?
« on: August 25, 2021, 11:28:11 AM »

Hi again,
Does anyone absorb better from one type of patch, than another?

I’ve been on evorel 75 for the best part of a year and whilst I thought I was feeling better ( mood etc) today I’ve crashed and feel wretched again ( low, tearful, achy ) It’s not the Covid job or a cold either.

My symptoms never totally cleared on the evorel 75 and thought I would have a go at using some Estradot 75 which I have, before looking to increase to the evorel 100.

My MS has also given me a lenzetto prescription, in case the 100 doesn’t help either!

I thought a patch was a patch regardless of the name?

Thanks  :)

They all have different 'other' ingredients, glue, carrier etc so it's possible you will absorb more from one brand than another. It's also normal to need more as you progress along your meno journey.

Yes I see what you mean re the other ingredients Sheila.

Will give Estradot 75 a go ( they did make me feel very irritable first time round) and if no joy, will go up to 100.
