Hi Michele7474

This might be totally inappropriate for your acid reflux symptoms as I don’t know how many things you’ve tried or not tried and what other health issues you have.  I was unable to take omeprazole, as it made me feel really unwell.  On the advice of a health professional I started taking 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice in a mug of boiling water about 30 minutes before each meal.  Although lemon juice is obviously acidic small amounts mixed with water reduce the acid in your stomach.  I found it really helped me so thought I would pass it on.

Hi Haydo

Thankyou for replying , I’ve only Just seen this

I will give the lemon water a go ( I actually love lemon )
I started back on the omperzole & take 2 a day since Saturday.
I’ve starting making myself eat better .. as in more just to get me back to my usual weight and strength.

I have no Health issues besides I’m on warfarin for my blood .. but all my life I’ve had lemon squash ( my fav ) and I can’t see having lemon in hot water any different as in interfering with my meds etc
Usually when I get a cold/flu I always have hot lemon water with honey.

I would much rather have no medication to take if this helped

Thankyou for your advice :)
