Hey Witch Hazel, not sure if a blonde colour would mask your grey roots unless it has peroxide in it? From my experience, if you're using peroxide, it's best to get a hairdresser to do it properly and as gently as possible. The downside to this is they might be super cautious and want to go down a few shades at a time, which takes ages. When it's bleached out enough you can put grey toners on top if you want to ease in your natural grey. You might also want to go shorter, to get there more quickly!

Or you could just wear hats or tie your hair back until the dye's grown out enough to be chopped off.
