Am really impressed by these home remedies, but my whole nail is yellow, ridged and convex; thick with a brittle and crumbly nail tip? Hope no-one eating! 😂

My big toe nail was really horrible, very ridged and discoloured but Vick worked miracles  ;D

Actually  ;D - beans on toast ..... get that Vick applied, thickly.  It won't do any harm.  At least your chest will be clear ;-)

To remove toenail fungus, start with proper hygiene: keep feet clean and dry, trim nails straight across, and wear breathable footwear. Over-the-counter antifungal creams can help. Natural remedies like tea tree oil may also be effective. In persistent cases, consult a doctor or prescription medications or laser therapy. Prevent recurrence by maintaining good foot hygiene, wearing moisture-wicking socks, and avoiding tight shoes. Be patient, as toenail fungus treatments require consistent effort over time for complete resolution.

I had a fungal nail infection on nearly all my toes and my gp said none of these otc stuff work and if I wanted to get rid of it I would need to take tablets for 6 months.
I had to send clippings in to get tested to ensure it was a fungal infection before treatment started. I also had to have a liver test at the beginning and during as they can effect it,but was told it would reverse if I stopped the tablets. My liver was fine and my toe nails got better.
But the other remedies suggested are good and I would try them if I got another infection, but fingers crossed I don't.
