Pippa, that’s interesting re: the lenzetto, as Chelsea and Westminster whom I am under, don’t seem to rate it. They say it’s weaker than the gel. Personally I hated the pump gel, it made me wired, sick and dizzy. If I can’t get more symptom relief on the next dose patch later on, I will be requesting lenzetto privately.

When I was on 4 pumps a day I was getting palpitations, too! I read often on this forum that palpitations are low estrogen but for me I get them with high estrogen (as well as low). My resting heart rate increases with increased dosage. Turns out I feel better on a low dose. Curious about Lenzetto now; I wonder if I can get that in Canada.

So confusing isn’t it? Maybe I need lower estrogen I just don’t know! I need to stick to 6 until my appt (if I can!) I get so worried that my other symptoms will return if I go lower?

That’s weird flan, as I get the vertigo etc on the gel too! I can’t stand the stuff personally but I get that it works well for lots of women.

You are under the Newson clinic. Just to say, I’ve heard of lots of women who are under that clinic who are also lots of gel and it hasn’t always been a good thing. But everyone is different obviously.

Yes im on the evorel patch and utrogestan. I was on gel prior to that, but as mentioned earlier, it made me feel very jittery and wired, so I stopped.

Good luck for the 3rd 🤞🤞

So I know it was only one night but I had an awful night, very restless, spinning head and very hot(I do not get night sweats) will try 4 pumps this morning and and hope that settles things for a better night tonight! I sometimes feel like doing a reset and starting again

Oh dear, poor you.
Do you definitely think you need the 6 pumps?
Too much O can be as bad as not enough I was told by specialist.

It’s a fine juggling act I’ve decided.
My issue is early waking!

Hi Nas my thoughts exactly! My problem at the minute is the appt I’ve waited so long for! It’s another 3 weeks which will be wasted time as this isn’t working but if I start messing about now with the doses they won’t be able to help as much! Like I said I have applied 4 this morning so may go for just one tonight????

Yes I hear what you are saying, but didn’t want to confuse the issue further for you. Think your best bet is to stick with the dose you have been on and let Newson clinic guide you on the next steps.

My guess would be, if 6 pumps doesn’t do the trick, lenzetto or more gel?

I did the reset and started again. It’s not a bad idea.

I went about 6 weeks without anything. Then reintroduced estrogel a half pump at a time. When I got another Mirena last fall, that mixed things up a bit but I was honestly surprised that I feel better on a lot less gel than people say I ought to (and I bought into the idea that as I’m young, I need more). In hindsight, I think that while my ovaries are definitely on their way out (several high FSH tests), they are having a heck of a send off party.

It’s definitely something I’m thinking of doing! It seems never ending list of problems and not loving life when I have really good life if that makes sense !

Very interested to read that other people have had palpitations on the gel as I used to get them a lot but  I have not had a single one since changing to Lenzetto x
