Continuous progesterone
« on: August 09, 2021, 04:34:50 PM »

Hi.  I wondered if anyone could give me some advice about utrogestan progesterone pills.  I was on cyclical for a year but then my doctor said I could try continuous as I'm 52 and would really like to stop having periods.  I started on continuous about 6 weeks ago and have had a period every 2 weeks!  My doctor says that it may take 6 months to settle but I can't help thinking that this just means that I am not through the menopause yet and should go back to cyclical.  Has anyone else had this experience when changing from cyclical to continuous?
Thanks very much for any help!
