Duphaston
« on: August 05, 2021, 08:38:13 AM »

How would you take Duphaston if you are a year without periods? 10mg continuous everyday or every second day or just 14 days a month?

I'd like to know BEFORE I ask my Gp for it here in Ireland.

I'm on Estradot 50 patches and utrogestan doesn't agree with me vaginally or orally and Evorel conti patches makes my hair fall out more...TIA

I'll ask how the weather is instead  ::).  Muggy here, bright 🌞 earlier,  now ⛅️.

Sorry I know absolutely nothing about it.
Perhaps worth £30 to ask an email question of Dr Currie?

I have started taking Dupaston now, 10mg for last 14 days of the cycle so I will see how I get on.

Let us know how you get on?  Do U keep a mood/food/symptom diary?

Hi IrishWendy, I hope you get on well with Duphaston.  Thanks for confirming what dose you've been recommended  :).  You are the 2nd member I know of to post recently that they are trying Duphaston.  I think there may be many women who'd be very interested in a chance to try it in combination with one of the transdermal oestrogens.  Please do let us know how you go.
