As for the fires out west, so tragic that one town has been 90% wiped out. They had been getting record-breaking heat, up to 50C and it was thought that sparked the fires but now they reported it was man-made.

Usually the case sadly C.C. - our moor fires are often started with those small BarBQs that get out of control
