When to switch patch if period comes?

This is probably a silly question. I’m taking evorel sequi and  I just put on my last patch of this pack the combi one but my period will probably start tomorrow or the day after. do I leave the patch on until my usual swap day on Friday or do I switch for a new estrogen only one as soon as I start bleeding?

Hi Obobal. No question is silly on here  :)

You keep to the same routine with the patches even if a period arrives so carry on with the combi patches. If you were having regular periods when you started HRT then your natural cycle and your HRT cycle should eventually synchronise. It may take a few months. You would usually expect an HRT induced bleed to arrive after you start the new pack of oestrogen only patches as it's caused by the withdrawal of progesterone.
