Changing from sequential hrt to continuous

Hi ladies

Hope everyone is getting through the pandemic ok.

I wanted some advice on my hrt regime please.

I am 53 and have been on Femoston 1/10 sequi for around 5 years with absolutely no side effects or issues.

I have been wanting to move to a separate patch and progesterone on a conti basis, from long term a safety perspective, and also because I am tired of bleeding every month, and am due to pick up my new estradot/utrogestan tomorrow.

I haven't tried Femoston conti and am nervous about moving not only to a new hrt product but to a conti regime also,in terms of side effects.

I have been prescribed 100mgs utrogestan every day and I plan to take vaginally, and a 50 mcg patch.

I know that it is all very much trial and error, and everyone reacts differently. However I wondered if it might be best to stay on my current regime if it has been 'working', or whether my fears of clots etc are valid and I should change regime.

Any thoughts would be welcome.
Thanks :- :)
