Loving Lenzetto
« on: June 07, 2021, 05:36:02 PM »

Hello Ladies! I just wanted to give you a quick update on my sleep issues!

I have been fairly lucky so far with the whole menopause thing, but I was so sick of waking up at 5am every day! Not great when you work shifts!

So I saw a local menopause specialist who was really lovely, and she has given me a small dose of Lenzetto, and some vagifem (why do they have to use such unsexy names!  ;D

And so far, I have had the best nights sleep for several months! Hurray!!!

I also have a new relationship, so life is finally making me smile again!

I’m not here to boast, just trying to provide some hope for ladies who are struggling!  ;)

So lovely to hear some positivity! I am also on Lenzetto (primary symptoms were night sweats and middle of the night insomnia) and so far it has been great for me too, although I am on too high a dose and need to reduce. Can I ask how old you are and what dose of it you take? xx

Hi Gilla999

Yes, I’m 49, and haven’t had a period for about 2 years.

I’ve been fairly lucky, but sleep has been an issue!

I’m taking one pump/spray, which I think is the equivalent of 0.25 patches?

The patches didn’t really do anything for me, but I find this spray provides just the right amount  :)

Hi Sleepy123,

good to hear a positive story. Can I ask if you take any progesterone with the spray ?

I am glad you are feeling relief.

I am confused though because I thought it was the progesterone part of HRT that relaxes you, and as it opposes oestrogen, the ingredient in Lenzetto, I would have thought the oestrogen would be a wakey hormone.

I ask this because I have just changed from 50mcg oestrogen gel to 50mcg oestrogen patch and I think the patch is giving me too much as I wake up much more anxious since changing.

I used to use 100mcg oestrogen but the two reductions did not cause extra anxiety.

Love a good news story!  :D

I have recently added 3 Lenzetto Sprays to my 200mcg Estradot patches with some effect. The Specialist is now adding Testosterone to the combination to see if it improves things further.
It’s a bit of a lottery isn’t it  ;D
