I don’t get side effects from Utrogestan thankfully. I’m you do get side effects then there are other alternatives. x

Thanks Dotty - you've helpfully suggested alternatives - I'm going to look into provera and see if the GP will prescribe.  Not sure how it will be different to the utro but in fairness, my wife didn't react to the norethisterone in the evorel conti patches at all - just a shame that they don't contain enough estrogen  :-\

I get fatigue which is why I will stay on long cycle sequi in meno. I also had no side effects from evorel conti but had to change as I developed an allergic reaction to the glue. Life was hardly worth living before hrt so there's no way I'm stopping, rather a bad 12 days than permanent anxiety and insomnia.
Some people do get 'patch and a half' type prescriptions but there seems to be a reluctance to prescribe this way.
