Hi Everyone.....I would like some advice about taking Femostan 1/10 together with Oestrogel. I had to stop taking Femostan 2/10 because the Estrogen felt too strong for me....but with the lower 1/10 dose after one month the hot flushes return. To avoid this Ive started adding 0.5mg from the pump of Estrogel....this seems to work well so far, but I just want to check how many days I need to take it for? Its not very clear on the leaflet and I was originally prescribed this by a Gyni who Id gone to for a check up and advice about stopping taking tablets altogether, which have never sat well with me...However I also couldn't cope with those messy ultragestan tablets which she advised taking vaginally.
So Im now back on the femostan but a lower dose and topping up with a bit more oestrogen dermally.
My question is do I apply the gel every day as the femostan is continuous or should I stop it on the grey pill (progesterone/estrogen) days.....or maybe just stop when I get a bleed?
