Hello everyone.
I’m just wondering if anyone else has experience of HRT patches with fibroids . Okay the first couple of months but now bleeding constantly , enough that I’m having to use sanitary wear and getting cramps .thinking of cutting patches in half ? Anyone had similar and did reducing dosage help ? Thank you

Hello Pipski and welcome to the forum.

Not long before my last ever period I was told that I had a small fibroid. This didn't cause a problem and I was able to start 50mcg patches HRT.  Some time later I increased to 75mcg and had some bleeding and needed a hysteroscopy which showed that my fibroid had disappeared. From that experience I concluded that despite extra oestrogen a fibroid can shrink rather than grow.

Obviously this is just my story but I hope it helps you in some way.
