I’ve been taking Femoston conti 1/5 for approximately 3 years. Took Femoston Sequi for 2 years before moving to conti.
I experience quite heavy bleeds every 3 weeks like clockwork and they last for around 6 days. Had ultrasound scans, hysteroscopy and biopsy to check for anything nasty – fortunately nothing could be found.
Whilst I’m awaiting follow up appointment with consultant, I wondered if anybody else has suffered these side effects whilst on Femoston 1/5 and did you manage to resolve them.
The Femoston is controlling majority of menopausal symptoms, however, I recently started to experience vaginal dryness and soreness.
I think I need a different HRT regime, any suggestions ladies?
