Hi - I had a total hysterectomy at age 43 last January. I was fortunate in that my consultant recommended I start sandrena gel immediately, and following research I pushed to also take testogel.
My HRT dosages weren't monitored in any way after I was discharged from post-op care and so I found a specialist menopause clinic to seek advice about whether I was taking the right things. They advised I was taking too much testogel and suggested a change to androfeme for testosterone (prescribed privately) and that I could change to Lenzetto for oestrogen.
I have been taking these replacements for a couple of months but am feeling progressively more fatigued and depressed as the time goes on - it's just dawned on me that it might be the dosage of both hormones.
I find with the spray in particular that it doesn't feel like the same amount of spray comes out each time (although I press it exactly the same in my mind), and I've noticed this is particularly the case by about day 10 of the pump (I take 3 sprays each day in the morning) when it feels as if less comes out - with my dose, the spray should last for 18 days. I also wondered about the reduction in testosterone.
Of course it could be coincidental, but I have a niggle that how I'm feeling might be connected to the doses, and was just interested to see if others had noticed the same with these new forms?
Many thanks
