Hi
Ive been precriped utrogestan 100mg to take every night along with estradot 50.
Ive used the estradot for about a month and added the utrogestan last Friday.
Ive hardly slept since and am so hot in bed. I seem to get hoter and hoter awful feeling. Do these side effects go away after a while?
Im 5 years post meno and tried provera and conti hrts but couldn't tolerate them due to the progesterone.
I had the minerva for 3 years but put on so much weight which my dr thinks is due to the steroids for addisons disease. X

You're taking exactly what I was prescribed 18 months ago.
It did take a while to settle, yes. I'd persevere for another couple of months. It is miserable to begin with but hopefully it will settle down.
Do you take the utrogestan at night, and remember to make sure you don't eat 2 hrs before?

There's a thread about taking it in the morning instead, apparently it's absorbed in 15 mins so gravity isn't an issue. Maybe try it and let us know how you get on?
