Sorry, one only just had this brought to my attention, I haven't logged on for a while!
lindsay, I can't remember if I sent you a PM but just in case I forgot :
1. Yes, I used Utrogestan vaginally.
2. I mostly used between 3 and 7 x 100mg capsules per cycle depending on migraines. On one occasion it was so bad I only used 1 capsule.
3. I used it on consecutive days.
4. I was using three pumps of Oestrogel initially but then reduced to one pump of Oestrogel with testosterone and 50mg progesterone every day. I switched to 1 spray of Lenzetto a month ago.
Sophie20, I will bump up my thread in the Alternative Therapies section and send you a PM.
Professor Studd has retired but his colleagues have taken over the clinic and they are also very good. You could try taking 100mg Utrogestan vaginally for 7 days each cycle and have regular transvaginal scans. That regime worked well for me for a number of years until I hit the buffers with Utrogestan.
Once I was very post menopause, things changed and I could no longer tolerate 100mg Utrogestan or the ups and downs of a cycle because they triggered my silent migraines and the bleeds made me feel ill. I now need a stable, lowish dose of oestrogen and progesterone every day with a small bead of testosterone.
