The Grand National 2021
« on: April 10, 2021, 12:05:07 PM »

It's that time of the year again & time for a little bet (virtual or otherwise  ;)).
Click on the link to the BBC sports racecard which shows all the 40 runners & riders, but remember some of these may be withdrawn by the time the race starts at 17.15.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/horse-racing/race/EHRP999821

Right I'm off to pick 2.

I think that the horses should go round on their own  ;)

Might be more fun if the jockeys went round on their own  :)

My son picked the winning horse but couldn't put a bet on.  He would have won £260. ::)

Won b**ger all. That's a shame Shadyglade about your son.
Well done Littleminnie.
I've missed going to the races this year - it's a lovely day out & even moe so if you have a winner or two. Hopefully be able to go again soon.

Only been to the races twice.  Great day out.

We went to Point to Point meetings a lot when I was a child.  In fact there is a course in my old home village.

We hope to go to a race meeting, maybe next year, as youngest son has never been.
