Stop the YESvm and use the 'vagifem' which replaces oestrogen gradually into the vaginal tissue.  YES won't replace oestrogen.  Cleanse yourself gently and pat dry, then in an hour put in a 'vagifem' dose.  Another one at bed time.

Nothing will help immediately.  Oestrogen levels drop off gradually so it mayB 2-3 weeks B4 you notice improvement.  Once the 'vagifem' works then apply YES on the outer labia and continue with the VA treatment, every night if necessary.

Take some pain relief at lunch time which will act on any background irritation.

It won't come out, some of us sadly have to go through the discomfort to get to the relief but if you increase your vagifem it should work, also please try the ph balance pessaries from Boots

Insert the Vagifem stick up halfway, i do that anyway as i seem to get better results. If it doesn't stick because of the YES product it is not going to do any harm anyway.
I get irritation from YES, stop everything and just use Vagifem, my meno specialist prescribed 2X Vagifem a day for the first two weeks of treatment and it got it under control, obviously ask your GP first if you wish to do that.

Also what are you washing with? No baths, take showers and just use tepid water to wash with for now. Also if you wash your hair in shower i would do that over a basin for now.

......... and breath!

Read back through the threads and take from the responses what you require.  You do not need the YESvm until symptoms are controlled with appropriate vaginal atrophy treatment, i.e. 'vagifem' or 'ovestin'.  Either of these will be more effective than other products that do not replace oestrogen levels.

Stop using any moisturisers, you may well be reacting to them. Just use the Vagifem for now.

How long have you been using Vagifem, are you just using 2 a week.

I would do a two week reload and then try a higher maintenance dose, i have never coped on two a week.
You could also ask for Ovestin cream to be prescribed and just use that sparingly on the outside bits along with Vagifem.

I know lots of ladies in here use moisturisers but i can't as i react, you may be the same. I do understand how sore you are, i struggled to get VA treatment and my whole day revolved around my sore bits, couldn't sleep, walk or sit it was miserable.

But i got it under control and only have odd flare now, although i did go on systemic HRT as well.
