Four stolen dogs have yet to be reunited with their owners, a month after being rescued by police.

Twelve dogs were found during a police search in Hertfordshire as part of an investigation into a theft from kennels in Wilden in September.

Dog lovers are being asked to spread the word and help reunite the dogs with their families.

Three people arrested in connection with the thefts were bailed again earlier this month.

Last week a couple arranged to meet a 'buyer' in a lay-by.  They had 2 "rhotties" and two Cane ?? - unsurprisingly they were surrounded by masked men with guns who managed to snatch 3 of the pups  :o  >:(.  Some people simply have no sense, why in the 1st place are they breeding so many large dogs and I do wonder if they are registered with the LA.  Hopefully the Police will look into this, it sounds very much like dog fighting set-up to me.

There are mutterings about increasing the penalty as currently it's the same as of you steal a mobile phone. Quite right too IMO, dogs are sentient beings who suffer just as much as the owner's do when they're ripped away from their home. To say nothing of the cruelty that may follow.

I signed a Petition last year about making dog theft a proper crime.

Last night on the news, .
A lady walking with her Pug, ...man walked up to her said, that’s a nice dog, bent down to what she thought to stroke it, instead, he unclipped the lead and ran off with it. 🤬
What could she do? ......😫
She later had a stroke due to the stress.
She never got the dog back!  :'( :'(

So sad.  Hopefully this will be too hot to handle.  4/5 dogs found in the back of a car that were stolen, including French and English bulldogs.

MayB we should all walk in packs!

A missing pug which was grabbed and stolen during a daily walk has been found 65 miles from home and reunited with her owner.
Ann Cowlard, 72, had been walking 11-year-old Dora near their home in Lydd, Kent, on 24 February.

A man wearing a face mask started talking to Mrs Cowlard before detaching Dora's lead and running off with her.

Dora was found in a park in Bexleyheath in south-east London on March 7, and taken to a police station, police said.
