Oh what's going in instead?  Hot tub  :D ?  I would never have a loo in the same room again as the bath/basin.  Who ever thought that was a good idea  :kick:

No, no room for a hot tub!  ;D  Our ensuite is small, just a 3 piece. We're replacing and updating everything, the vanity, toilet, and shower stall- it's going to be re-tiled and glassed-in, new fixtures, tile floor, exhaust fan, and mirror. The only thing that's staying the same is the light fixture over the vanity.
Hopefully sometime this month the demo will start.

We're looking for a country cottage for the 2 of us & the dog. Bugga there's not much left  >:(. I've tried loads of sites. Must have enclosed garden, wi-fi, off road parking & a pub near by (walking distance. We may take M.I.L with us also so need 2 bedrooms.
Not much to ask for is it?  ;D

Where do you want to go?   Ditch the wi-fi which may offer more options.  Also if prepared to pay a little more, there should be options.  After all, we haven't holidayed far for a while so maybe amalgamate what you might have spent .........

Remember too that some people are booking several places for the same week  :o across the UK and abroad, intending to cancel 1 as restrictions lift.  Which I call selfish !

The Motel we use has been open throughout as it is classed as necessary because lots of reps etc. stay there.

If you find somewhere with bigger capacity but its out if your price range, email the owner they may give under occupancy, its worked for me, we were 4 in a house sleeping 10 when I enquired about the cost I was offered the discount without asking  :)

We went to Sussex last September jaypo, we found a farm shop/barn selling beautiful plums and huge cooking apples, we wished we’d bought more to take home.  Lewes was nice and Bexhill had a nice walk in front of the beautiful De La Warr pavillion.

Hotels accepting dogs can be a good bet.  No need to cook ;-).  Situated within walking distance of various points of interest. Making sure that they have a car park on site is important for us.  'cos I usually 4get something in the car when I get to the room  ::)

It will depend on the area you fancy , might it be worth looking further 'out' from your chosen place especially near the coast?  Tourist information web-sites can often give accommodation so that you can book directly.  'pets welcome' book - we used it with success, no going through agencies which is something we never do, preferring the monies to go to the owners.

We have always had a discount for 2 + dog if the property can accommodate more people   ......... there seems 2B plenty of accommodation according to the Sat papers.

If 1 can't get booked anywhere, mayB look at your local region to see what days out are available?  Museums, walks, cafes on the beach ....... not many of us actually look closely at our nearby architecture etc. ;-).  We have Warwick and Leamington Spa within 1.5 hours drive which we enjoy, usually, twice a year.
