Swapping to Lenzetto from Estraderm - First 11 days
« on: December 14, 2020, 05:34:47 PM »

Hi everyone,

I am really struggling with the patches...

Evorel Conti - Didnt absorb the progesterone part properly and endometrial hyperplasia occured

Evorel 75 / Estraderm 75 - I sound like a walking crisp packet, they crinkle and come off so easily despite wiping with alcohol wipes first!

Estradot - These stuck like glue, but made my breathing seem laboured (maybe i didn't absorb properly) -

Oestrogel - Again laboured breathing type feeling, and felt i was covered in the stuff!

SO......today I start Lenzetto (plus my usual Utrogestan, which is bringing my hyperplasia down  ;D) - I am going to 'wing the dosage', starting with 2 pumps per day, I was on 100 patch before, but like i say, i'm not sure how much I was receiving consistently

Wish me luck  :-*

Hello PMDD

Good luck with your Lenzetto spray. I believe this is quite new to the market so perhaps only a few ladies will be using it but I guarantee many will want to learn about it, me included lol.

I saw a YouTube video by Liz Earle recently and she was using between five and six pumps of Oestrogel daily but has now moved to Lenzetto. She did a little demonstration and explained that although the dose was the same there was a much smaller volume of gel needing to be rubbed in. This must have been a relief for her as previously she must have been slathered in the stuff, makes you wonder where she put her Testogel lol.

Hope your experiment goes well and please keep us updated.

Take care.

First full day went Ok, a few little palpitations/flutters (this normally happens when i drop oestrogen, so prob to do with me taking the patch off yesterday) and with me being on a 100microgram patch prior, im not too sure whether i sit between 2 or 3 sprays of Lenzetto per day.

But nothing negative so far, so will crack on xx

Thank you for the update, that's good news! I know every woman reacts differently but the symptoms you have mentioned are generally seen as caused by high and not low oestrogen? I think you should start on 2 sprays and adjust the dose if you're still having menopause symptoms. Fingers still crossed for you, sweetie  :-*

That's interesting Sage, as I always assumed a sudden change/drop in oestrogen gave me the palpitations, it was often how i knew to change my patch  ::)

Today I have a 'hormone' headache, again this usually happens when I swap types of HRT, so again hoping that will settle.

The deliver method of Lenzetto is great, so easy, i'm hoping I just tolerate the stuff well!

Fingers crossed xxx

I have been using 1 spray on the forearm twice a day now for a few days, and i've got to say I feel far more stable already. Palpitations have subsided, thank goodness, as I find that the most distressing symptom, as they are very 'flip-floppy'.

Still very early days, but I do feel there has been improvements xx

Merry Christmas Everyone!

A further update for you all......well, a ropey couple of days really  :-\

I've only been on the Lenzetto for 11 days, but that also means i've been off the patches for the same time.....all was going really well until yesterday when my anxiety rose, head was very 'spinny', and I just felt very unsteady, with zap type sensations in my head. Pulse fine etc, just totally out of sorts in myself.

Today, not much better, but maybe slightly.

So.....im thinking could this be the new Lenzetto spray, or the patches leaving my system? Or could it be that i was actually using the lenzetto on top of residual oestrogen from the patch, and that my dose has now rapidly reduced.

Any advice appreciated, as im not sure what to do?

Hi Lisa, sorry to hear you're not feeling well, hope you're doing better today! It's going to take a while for your body to get adjusted to the new regime. Hang in there, sweetie. Hope you had a lovely Christmas!  :-*
