MayB we should buy an old Rectory and start building that Home ?  with ensuite bathrooms and a cupboard for a carer each? 

I sometimes go through the members that used to be here that suddenly left or who drop by intermittently and wonder ........ Viv, Lanzarote, Leah ...........

We're very pleased to announce that a legend of British comedy is to come out of retirement in France to appear in a musical romp here this year as part of our 75th anniversary celebrations. The Dowager's Oyster is described as a light opera that captures the comic book charades of a 1920s murder mystery farce and at its heart is the return to the stage of Dr Evadne Hinge, one half of the enormously popular double act Hinge and Bracket which entertained audiences with their songs and 'theatrical memories' for 30 years.

I'd have liked to have done that years ago with all my family. But sadly, we've all fell out, so it probably would've been a disaster.

There aren't many people that I would want to share space with  .  A few years ago I had a friend who turned out to have narcissism and when she realised that I realised, she dropped me like a hot coal    .

My most successful role in the village pantomime was as the panto dog I was word perfect and woofed in tune! My next success was as Ben Gunn a castaway in treasure island. I was unrecognisable in my make up and wig and disgusting habits! Do I pass the audition?

I was the the good fairy in that. Didn’t enjoy that. I like to be evil! Sadly the drama group in the village has disbanded. Members getting too old. Houses too expensive for the younger generation.
