I smell...like an old bloke in the morning if it's been a particularly sweaty night...one thing I'm paranoid is about how I smell...maybe I should start splashing on the Yardley Lavendar or Lily of the Valley...I'm single too and can't even imagine getting up close and personal with a new guy...aaargh...i just couldn't bear to see him flinch lol, unless I find one with no sense of smell... ::)

I have a very good sense of smell too. I can smell what I have eaten in my urine (just from standing over it to flush) and I can smell antibiotics in other people's urine when I go into a public cubicle directly after someone else (freak!

I think I smell at the moment, I have been on anti-biotics almost non-stop since February due to a long standing bladder infection and I think they have played havoc with my entire body. My urine smells really strong, perhaps it is the anti-biotics in my urine  :-\

Also my skin smells of vinegar, even when I am in the bath the smell comes out of my pores. My OH says I don't smell though.

I used to smell really nice  :'(

Does your practitioner know of the smell in the urine and on your skin?

ADs may well alter the chemical overall which will encourage smells i.e. pear drop breath can be a sign of diabetes so with having a chat about.

My BO has definitely changed in the last year...didn't realise at the time that it could be a sign of peri, just couldn't work out what was happening.  I've always smelled different when I had my period so I guess it makes sense.  No idea if anyone else can smell it, but I can, even straight after a shower and I HATE IT!!!  People say 'how wonderful' to have a good sense of smell, but it's not great if what you are smelling is horrible.   :(

I'm always ok after a shower but I have to be very careful in the summer to use a good anti perspirant. It's when I wake in the morning that I'm aware that I maybe don't smell so good.
When we have warm weather I need two showers a day just to feel good.

How we smell can also be linked to what we eat   :-\

Yep - spices, medications, medical conditions can seep through the pores which is how Medical Detective Dogs work - either by breath or skin alterations - don't think I'm ready for a smell-a-ton dog though  :scottie: and DH says he can't smell any changes ..........

Thanks - I am getting a stale smell of urine or just a "whiffy" smell inside the vagina - I can smell it on the applicator (that I use for Gynest) after I have removed it - not overpowering but not pleasant :-(  Don't know why..?
