How long will increase in gel take to work?
« on: November 02, 2020, 06:10:27 PM »

I increased from 2-3 pumps last week as night sweats had come back with a vengeance a year after starting and having success on 2 pumps.
I thought it might be working. The sweats are a bit milder( I even had one night with no sweats) but I still get one a night which wakes me up. Actually, oddly I wake up just before I start to get hot. It's always around 4am as well >:(.
If it's going to improve on the increased dose when could I expect this to happen?

It could be cortisol surges, the waking hormone.

Some find that 2.5 twice a week is helpful.

That wouldn't surprise me. I certainly have a lot of stress in my life at the moment. Perhaps I should make the night time yoga a bit more regular. I am guessing stress can increase hot flushes?

Any form of relaxation won't hurt.  I rely on my evening bath ;-)

Don't know how much stress rises flushing?
