Conti to Sequi
« on: October 27, 2020, 06:50:27 PM »

Hi All,
I changed from Evorel Conti to Sequi yesterday (1st day of bleed).
I’ve crashed a bit today which I expected but any tips from those who have done this switch and does anyone know how long  I can expect to be all over the place? A week? A cycle?

Thanks as always!  :)

Hi Evie606

Your post got missed.

If you remain on sequi HRT then there will always generally be an element of pms especially as you come off the conti part of the HRT and beack on to the oestrogen only part. This is a phenomenon known as progesterone withdrawal and is similar to what occurs just before a natural period. It is the body's physiology adjusting to the changes. Most women feel better once they are back on oestrogen only, and many also once they are stable on the conti part - it is the change in hormone levels that can be irksome!!

I hope you are feeling better now and that you find the cyclical regime better for your symptoms :)
