I'm wondering can you take utrogestan without oestrogen? Awaiting scan results but my GP was keen to try mirena when I last spoke to her. I'm playing the waiting game and thinking the worst i.e. will have to have a hysteroscopy as sonographer said my lining was thicker near the cervix (but she said this could be because I was bleeding - I was, heavily, and past large clots after getting home. Sorry TMI). I'm on day ten of the norethisterone withdrawal bleed and the last 2 days have just been spotting. I'm so sick of bleeding and am tempted to try utrogestan in the meantime. Surely it's gentler than norethisterone? Is this a silly idea?
