I’m on estradiol and Utrogestan but have had 4 heavy bleeding episodes lasting 5 days each over the past 8 weeks. This started after about 2 weeks on this regime. My gp suggested a Mirena to counter the estradiol instead - but my womb is in such a dodgy place she couldn’t fit it! I’m resigned to carrying on with the Utrogestan and hoping that it settles down. It’s not ‘spotting’ - it’s a proper period with all the associated pain and low mood. Can anyone tell me if and when it will stop?
