Thanks for the recommendation....    I have just done a read up on Omeprazolone, something I might have to consider...    It normally starts mid evening until next morning.
I already have an irritating dry cough, again exactly what you said, from mid afternoon, so could Omeprazolone make it worse.

I don't think it makes the cough worse, but I may not be taking a high enough dose.  At least at night I no longer get heartburn and the cough disappears when I sleep.  MayB that's the answer ?
