Discharge and mild abdo pain
« on: September 21, 2020, 03:33:39 PM »

Hi
I had a TAH in June both ovaries and tubes removed, stage 4 endometriosis. I started Everol 50mg patches twice a week and 100mg Utrogestan once a day, only been on them for 10 days. This weekend started loosing yellow discharge, sometimes have mild abdo pain, can wee ok. Was wondering has anyone else experienced anything similar or could this be normal after starting HRT?
Thanks 💕

It could just be your vaginal lining waking up and producing secretions again after having been without oestrogen for a while. On the other hand, a thin discharge can be indicative of VA, in which case it would be a good idea to start using a local oestrogen such as Vagifem or Ovestin. However, in light of the abdominal discomfort and your previous history, maybe it would be best to consult your GP or whoever is your prescriber.

Sorry, that's not much help but all I can think of.

Thank you Joaniepat & Sammiejane. I would say it’s thin type of discharge, not constantly loosing. I thought it might be the oestrogen kicking back in. I have made a gp appointment, can’t get in until next week. xx
