Brown blood question
« on: September 15, 2020, 02:33:15 PM »

Brown blood, very small amount, only when wiping after 10 days on evorel conti is fine isn’t it?
I know it says bleeding is common at the start but I’m just checking that brown is ok.
Not had a period of any kind in years, so I feel a bit like a beginner again 😂

I used to get a brown discharge 2 days after each period during peri.  It's old blood that suddenly decides to leave the body  ::).  I never worried as it was regular for me.

This must be very old then 🤢 I haven’t had a period for over 10 years 😂 gross!

Oh yep, gross  :o.   Does it say anything in the leaflet in the box, or put the product name into the search box to see what pops up?

It’s says breakthrough bleeding or spotting is usually nothing to worry about in the first few months of HRT.
But if it carries on for more than the first few months, starts after you have been taking HRT for a while or after you stop HRT, consult a doctor.

My query was just the colour really. Hopefully I won’t have any nice fresh stuff, that can do one!

You have asked before and I don’t.
My mood would be pissy, my food would be anything yummy and my symptoms we have discussed 😂
Seriously though maybe I should, do you find it useful?

Ive had all sorts on evorel conti, brown, almost black and bright red! and I was told it was all normal within the first 6 months. I am just over 6 months and it has finally reduced to spotting now and then. Several people on here have had some issues with continual bleeding, but many others are absolutely fine.
