Last Film You Watched?

We watched Ready or Not a couple of nights back.

I was a little apprehensive at first but the black comedy aspect took the emphasis away from the gory parts. I really enjoyed it.

The last one we saw was "The Hobbit". It was on TV the other day.

We have been re-watching some movies during the pandemic but we really want to see "Tenent" but we are very leery about going to the movie theatre. I just don't think its a good idea.  So we will have to wait until it's released on Blu-Ray or Netflix.
I like Christopher Nolan's mind-bending movies.  Inception is my favourite one.

I haven’t been to see a film in the cinema for years. I think the last one I saw was Valkyrie. I don’t think I’d want to go into a cinema either at the moment, I’m far too paranoid.

Was The Hobbit good?

Oh Mucha, I was thinking about starting a new thread for films, well done  :)
We watched Bridge of spies but it wasn't really that great, even though the brilliant Tom Hanks was in it.
One of my favourite films EVER is Untouchable,it's French but pleeeeeeeeease don't let that put you off,if you watch it and don't like it,I'll eat my hat (it's ok I don't have one  ;D )

My last cinema trip was to Military Wives which I saw on my birthday this year just hours before the pandemic was announced (March 11th). I really enjoyed it because of the feel good factor in it. It reminded me very much of Calendar Girls.  :)

I haven't been watching any films on TV since but have saved a small number of old favourites.

I haven't been 2 the cinema since 1981.  We waited until films came round on video - remember those  ;D. I have CDs in the corner that haven't been opened, some going back for several years.  They were on my various lists but we are busy watching TV so never seem to have time to look at the CDs  ::)

Yes, it is a good movie. :) But if you've read the book (I have not), and are a big Tolkien fan, it might not follow exactly and there are some added characters, like Tauriel (Evangeline Lily)

Ohh yes, I watched Mamma Mia, and loved it. Not really my thing, but I gave it a whirl and so glad I did. Agreed, the first was better than the second, but still, I enjoyed it.
That Colin Firth, 😍. Mind you, Pierce Brosnan ain't bad either. 😜

I love them both, I wonder why I have no libido issues when I think of them! Maybe it's not men-o-pause, maybe it's husband-pause  ::)

Last film, actually series, was Mrs. America. Cate Blanchett is perfect!
