Jules1, hi, you most definately could be peri menopausal, health professionals rely too heavily on the blood tests FSH/LH and generally are totally ignorant re peri menopause symtoms & treatments. Unfortunatley it is an individuals own responsibility to do as much reading up re their symptoms, trying various things themselves to see if it relieves any of the symptoms (weight loss, increased exercise etc) and researching possible treatments so when you go to GP you have as much knowledge as possible, knowledge is power & I wish I had been clued up about it, otherwise I wouldn't have ended up round about the houses (various tests & specialists) to get the 'obvious diagnosis of peri' years later!!!
