Changing Evorel 50 patches
« on: August 26, 2020, 08:27:06 AM »

Hi All

Was just looking for a little help.  It seems the day I’m due to change my patch and the day after, I feel low, can get a migraine and have more aches and pains.  I wondered if anyone had found a way to alleviate this?  Can you change the patch slightly earlier or overlap?

Thank you

I used to have this but now I change my patch every 3 days instead of 3/4 days as that seems to keep me on an even keel. I also found oestrogen gel was good as that kept everything stable but it depends on what the pharmacy have in stock!

Thanks Scrubdub.  I will try changing the patch every 3 days, thank you.  It’s just having the confidence to change things, so good having this forum to run things by everyone 😃

I was advised by the meopause clinic to change patches every 3 days to avoid headaches.
