Am I going mad?
« on: August 17, 2020, 04:57:22 PM »

Hi everyone,

everyone talks about hot flashes that pass.  I have what can only be described as a constant damp feeling all the time.  Imagine sitting in damp clothes, they're not actually wet they just feel like that against my skin, it doesn't matter what I wear, it's horrid, but no one else seems to describe this as a symptom. Any feedback would be appreciated

As background I get the other flashes from eating spicy food, glass of wine, they only last minutes, I've been on HRT for about 2 years now.

Hi!

How were you feeling B4 this heat wave?  I have noticed clothing sticking to me far more .......... as well as getting either suddenly hot or cold in extreme temperatures although I don't have flushes per se.

How R U otherwise?

Hi

Thanks for the prompt reply, I've had this issue for some time now, well before the heat wave.

Other symptoms like many include very sore breasts, achy ankles, my face is really greasy since just before I realised I was peri menopausal, tiredness fluctuates as does my sleep pattern

Yep.  Morning.  Sounds within normal limits from where I'm sitting  ::)

Do U keep a mood/symptom/food diary to chart progress?  It can help you see a pattern.

Cotton is the best material as it washes and dries quickly in this weather.  Talc dusted over the skin, left and brushed off can ease stickiness.  Keep hydrated!
