Hi I'm almost 48 and in peri been off cerazette 3 months had withdrawal bleed th3n last month a light period and now month later dates were right took couple days to start then not too bad a one for me been about week and looked like it was finishing, then managed to not wear anything then before bed I wiped and was bright red blood , been cramping in back all day like going to come on again. Did the deed with hubby anyway as noticed before that lol and still like it this morning wearing a light pad to see. I'm worried and have nobody to ask if this is hormonal or not,thanks

Hi sounds like withdrawal bleeding.  Also if the ovaries kick in we can get intermittent bleeding.  If you are cramping it sounds like hormones.  Have you taken pain relief?

Wondering if period hadn't actually finished or whether it is another one back to back?

Is it fresh blood?  Could be back-2-back when hormones get upset.

Make sure that you don't become anaemic
