Funny you should mention that clkd,I've not seen much in the way of butterflies  :'( and I bought lavender plants especially for them and the bees

Aww Tracy t it's horrid seeing them being taken from their nests, I saw a seagull gulping down a baby bird,was horrible

Because I didn't want our spindle trees ruined.  Regardless of what 1 reads, those webs damage plants. I can see in our hedgerows where caterpillars have been in previous years even though the plants have covered any gaps.

 :bouncing:  first Southern Hawker dragonfly crawled into the ☀️ from the bottom pond today  8) now we have to keep the neighbours' cat away  :o. I tried water spray, she loves to play with the drops  ;D

Oh !!! a male sparrow hawk has landed in the pergola honeysuckle, hopped along the wooden top - those eyes  :o 8)
