All is forgiven, little dog next door, when you wake me up yapping when you have your late evening toileting in your garden and when you yap at me for daring to go into our garden. No rats ever since you came to live next door!
We get a lot of Reed warblers in the garden. No reeds in the garden! Or water. I enjoy seeing swallows on my walks and listening to skylarks in the fields. Turned on to a pathway and saw a buzzard on the fence post. As it didn’t seem to hear me, I started singing! I wasn’t sure if I startled it, it might attack. Big bird!
It flew off swooping round to take a good look at this strange human!
We used to have several rabbits when the children lived here. Expensive business getting the yearly vaccinations. One of them got fly strike. The vet was ready to put it to sleep, but my DD wasn’t having it. She dug maggots out every day and the rabbit survived and submitted to being cuddled despite not being handled when young as it was given to us as we were soft touches! My DD now has a rehoused sickly bearded dragon. Another survivor because of her loving care.
