Burning through body?
« on: April 14, 2020, 04:04:30 PM »

Hi I'm really struggling with anxiety,  especially since the covid thing started. Been having lots of perri symtoms for a while
But over the past few weeks my whole abdomen feels like its burning inside, and full of pressure. Today my chest is burning to...I wondered if this could be from anxiety.
I spoke the gp last week who changed my ppi and prescribed sertraline to try and help with my extremely low mood. But I dont know if I'm best giving hrt another try..my last periods have lasted roughly about 6 weeks
Thanks lisa xx

Anxiety causes all kinds of strange symptoms, and Covid has brought many symptoms to many of us.

I also have tension and discomfort in my chest, as I focus on the area of my body where my latest health worry is.

I have read that a burning sensation in the throat or chest can be anxiety and nerves often affect the stomach

See if it settles down over the next few days, if not talk to a doctor about it.
