Estrogen questions
« on: March 21, 2020, 04:31:20 PM »

I have recently changed from Evorel 100 patches to Estrogel because of the unavailability of the patches. ( I also have a Mirena ) . I have 2 questions which I hope someone can answer. How many pumps of gel is equivalent to the 100mg patch?  ( Doc says 3 but I thought 4 ). And when I apply it, should I split the amount between both arms each day or alternate arms on a daily basis?
Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi 4 pumps is the rough equivalent. I put 2 pumps on each shoulder outer arm each morning. X

Hi

Yes it's 4 pumps, I put mine on each inner thigh. You could do all at once or split am and pm. Tweek until you find something that suits you x

Thank you Bobidy. Do you find splitting the dose makes any difference to sleep?

Not so much with sleep but no dipping with symptoms and it's less to rub in at one go. We are all different though x
