Oh, thank you, Hurdity.
When you say some women are nervous of taking daily progesterone - is that for women on sequi who don't want to move to continuous?
I know with the utrogestan prescription I have it gives me the option to only take the tablets for 25 days out of a 28 day cycle, but both my doctor and the meno specialist I saw originally said it's fine to take for 28 if you don't want a period.
Honestly, it's been the best regime I've found. Got rid of my bloating within three days. Took a little longer to reduce the flushes but now I get maybe one or two a month and they last less than 10 seconds. I didn't take too well to femoston, but the utrogestan has been problem free. With the cv crisis I fear the supply of oestrogen patches will slow down again and I'll have to stop both, so that would be my only advice against going for a patch+utrog option. Otherwise, I'd say nothing to fear.
