Grand National [Coronovirus and sport]
« on: March 02, 2020, 12:49:37 PM »

Some rugby fixtures have been postponed

MotoGP Premier riders denied access to Qatar this weekend - those in Moto2 and 3 can race as they are always there.  How this will affect spectator travel is yet to be decided  ::)

The Worlds cycling went ahead last week in Berlin even when a Pro racer flew from UAE to Germany ....... he then went into quarantine in case he was carrying the Bug. He wasn't  ::)

This is going to have a knock-on effect especially as the incubation period still hasn't been determined: 10-12 days or as long as 28 days  ::)

Watching moto2 and 3 from Qatar under flood lights, qualifying tomorrow and racing on Sunday.  I think the Racing in Thailand has already been cancelled as countries won't have people in from Italy which is where many of the cycling fraternity are based.  Whereas F1 corridor tends to be along the M1/M40 corridor but even that is going to be affected.

Rugby affected and some football might be played to empty stadiums.  Olympics are in doubt until later in 2020.
